AI engineer and product builder

Hi, I'm Josh.

I'm an AI engineer and product builder in Salt Lake City, Utah. I work at Marshall & Stevens and build products through Cannon AI.

My work sits between AI systems and product design: the automation underneath, the interface people touch, and the context that helps an agent do useful work. I'm especially interested in making these systems easier to understand and trust.

About

I grew up in Draper, Utah, transferred to the University of Tennessee, and moved from finance into Applied AI. I walked in May and I'm finishing the last six credits this summer.

I move quickly with modern AI tools, but I care most about the durable parts: understanding the workflow, shaping the product, and building systems that still work after the demo ends.

Away from the screen, I'm usually golfing, hiking, skiing, watching a movie, or getting too competitive over ping-pong with my brother.
